Bryan Ray Teets, 43, of Palmyra, Virginia, and formerly of Virginia Beach, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Morris Teets; his maternal grandfather, Henry “Buck” E. Brown; and paternal grandfather, Paul Raymond Teets.
Bryan graduated from Bayside High School in 1996. He attended Universal Technical Institute in Houston, TX for auto repair and later Trucker School ATI. Bryan had several jobs in his working career: LNR Carriers, RUAN, Sunrise Window, Knight Refrigeration and was owner of Easy street Taxi. Some special achievements for Bryan were earning his CDL license, AB Hazmat- OTR and the Heavy Equipment Certificate. He had attended church at Calvary Chapel in Fluvanna and Calvary Baptist Church in Virginia Beach.
Bryan is survived by his parents, Terry and Debbie Teets; his sister, Pattie Kake Ditewig and husband, Tommy; his nieces and nephews, Brianna, Anthony, Jr, and Corbin Castillo, Liam, Kennedy, and Saoirse Ditewig; his former brother-in-law, Anthony B. Castillo, Sr.; Step-daughter, JulieAnne Bowling, her husband Cody, and their children, Anna, Ava, and Conner. And Lifelong Best Friend, Jean Soutiere, his wife Jessica and their daughters, Emma and Anna.
Also surviving on Bryan’s maternal side of the family include; his grandmother, Shirley W. Brown, uncle, Skippy Brown; aunt, Karen McGuire; cousins, Dawn and John Friedrichs and their three children, Wendy and Mark Davis and their four children; and on Bryan’s paternal side of the family include; his grandmother, Pattie L. Teets; aunt, Jeanine Teets; uncle, Michael Teets; aunt, Shirley Teets; cousin, Devorah Sanchez; uncle, Rick Teets; aunt, Linda Teets; cousins, Paula Teets, Chris Bradshaw, Tracey Summa, Nathan Teets, Emily Bean, and Natalie Tetterton; 11 step cousins.
