How does one say
goodbye to a friend
Fifty decades back
That I've just seen again
Spent only a 3day
Superb weekend
That brought back
Memories so sweet
stretched the days and
Into nights no end

Our dear loving friend,
With the big heart,
Caring and gentle Carmen
Heaven had us apart
For you to sing praise
with the angels above
And awesomely gaze
At our heavenly God

Sour high gentle soul
Far beyond the clouds
Done with your earthly role
Reap now what you sowed
Eternal bliss with the saints
Forever joy, no more pains

Carmen was a dear friend of mine and she will be missed.
I wish I was able to be there for her in her final moments to give her comfort, prayer, and peace.
She was a pillar in the Hampton Roads Filipino Community and has helped us all one way or another with her compassion, huge heart, prayers, and laughter.

The McKain Family sends their deepest sympathies and condolences to Carmen's family. We regret not being able to attend the Funeral and Novena, but we will keep Carmen's memory alive in our hearts and prayers so that she may have a peaceful transition to Heaven.

Much love,

Shirley McKain & Family.

It is hard to find a word as life will never be the same again. Laughter turn to sadness but I know God plan is always at the right time. You gave us wings so we could reached our dreams, you trained us with challenges to mold us to be a better individual, to become ambitious, become a pride as family always wanted. You inspires me of how to be you... Generous, fighter and always starve for all the best things that life has to offer. Your Golden heart stop beating but we will always believe that you are still watching us as this is your always a life prime routine(family first)..... Thank you.. I love you and enjoy Gods paradise where everlasting joy and eternal life dwells upon you.
