Norfolk- Cecilio E. Hermoso,75, passed away on September 26, 2011. He was born on November 22, 1935 to Pedro F. and Delores E. Hermoso in the Philippines. He is predeceased by his wife Kathleen J. Hermoso.
Mr. Hermoso served his country in the US Navy and retired after twenty-three years of service. He later worked at the Ft. Story Officer’s Club as a Food Service Manager for the Civil Service, and retired a second time after twenty years.
He is survived by his sons, Randy Hermoso, Jay Hermoso, Kent Hermoso; daughters, Elena Neal, and Gloria Foist; brothers, George Hermoso, Juanito Hermoso, Fely Hermoso, Renee Hermoso and Efrin Hermoso; sisters Flor Victa Evarista, and Gloria Gonzaga; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
