Claudette Rezas, 82, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on the 2nd day of May 2025. She was the daughter of Percy and Bertha Ranger. She was born in Montreal Canada and attended Norfolk Catholic High School in Norfolk, Virginia.
Claudette spent many years in the NEST program (Norfolk Emergency Shelter Team) and will be remembered for her service of the needy feeding and sheltering the homeless in Norfolk, Virginia. She was a very loving member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Peter John Rezas, Sr. She is also survived by three brothers, Claude Ranger, Pierre & Sarita Ranger, and Michael & Karen Ranger and their three daughters; and Claudette's four sons, Anthony Rezas, Paul Rezas, Mark Rezas, and Peter John Rezas, Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Tammy Rezas (Paul's wife), as well as her three grandchildren, Megan Rezas, Joshua Rezas, and Vincent Rezas.
She will be remembered for her tender heart and the loving care of everyone she met. She will truly be missed by her family and friends. She was a big fan of television shows, historical romances, and old movies. She especially loved watching the soap opera General Hospital, and never seemed to miss an episode over the last 62 years.
"Life goes on..." was Claudette's favorite thing to say whenever life made things tough.
She has joined Betty Ranger (Claude's wife) as well as Percy and Bertha Ranger in eternity.

The wonders of Heaven
Do not grieve for me, For my love shall never end, I am walking in the golden streets,
That seem to never end, The crystal sea is wonderful, Such a glorious thing,
It makes me feel so warm and So happy all over again.
