Colin Brian Calvert, 86, passed away on July 11, 2021. He was born in Grimsby, England, to the late Arthur and Ethel Calvert and immigrated with his family to America in 1968. He was an adventurous, charismatic, and charming man who had a passion for life and for the opportunities that this country had to offer. He was a CPA and co-owner of Calvert & Company and over the years, he mentored countless people in all areas of his life. He was also a soccer enthusiast and helped develop soccer in the Northern Virginia area. Golf and bridge were among his other interests.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Anne L. Calvert, 2 sons, Nick Calvert and his wife Lori, Andrew Calvert and his wife Tessa, his first daughter-in-law and Reverend Sarah Kosak Calvert, who will be officiating at his funeral; 3 grandchildren, Christy Cashman and her husband Devon, Tim Calvert and Matt Calvert, and 2 great grandchildren, Dylan and Carter Cashman.
