Cynthia "Cindy" M. Disharoon, aged 64, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2014. She was born on March 3, 1950 in Norfolk, VA to Lewis J. Welch, Sr. and Aileen R. Dewberry Welch. Cindy graduated from Princess Anne High School in 1968 and worked at C&P Telephone Company and the City of Virginia Beach. Her greatest loves were the Lord, family, friends and her many pets. She is survived by her loving husband and caretaker Danny Disharoon, whom she was married to for 43 years; three brothers, Woodrow W. Baker of Richmond, VA, Lewis J. Welch, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA, and Jeffrey C. Welch of Germany; a daughter, Amber L. Disharoon Thebarge, her husband, Michael F. Thebarge, Jr.; and four grandchildren, Zachary A. Tull, Emily B. Tull, Michael "Trey" Thebarge, III, and Grace A. Thebarge; her son Daniel J. Disharoon, married to Amy Benton Disharoon; granddaughter, Haley Lyn Disharoon. A viewing will be held at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA from 7-9 pm on Monday, June 9, 2014.
