Cdr. McClure graduated from the Naval Academy and retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty-seven years, followed by twenty-one years as a much loved franchisee with Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. He was a true Patriot and Vietnam Veteran.
Cdr. McClure was preceded in death by his wife, Alletta Allison McClure.
Survivors include three children, Ken and his wife, Cindy Hartfelder; Allison and husband, Charles Maresh, M.D.; and Scott McClure, three grandchildren, Heidi and husband, Jim Wen; Joseph Hartfelder and Jesica Weatherly, a great grandaughter, Ella Wen and Missy and Barker McClure.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.
