Dan went to our church as a teen. He was my son's best friend. He actually sang and acted in the Witness, a play I directed. He was in our son's wedding party.  My husband and I miss him and talk about him all the time. Our son passed away in 2014 and Dan would visit him all the time. It was a blessing to Jason.  Dan was a blessing to us!💕

Danny’s Mom, Kathy, is my husband’s cousin. We remember Danny & his siblings growing up in Wausau & playing with his cousins. He always had a big smile & a happy demeaner. We didn’t get to know him as well as an adult after they moved to Virginia. He came to a Family Reunion a few years ago, so we were grateful to visit with him then. We are so very saddened to learn about this devastating loss & our thoughts & prayers are with you all.        Bill & Linda

We met Dan as a teen at Open Door chapel and he was friends with our son Jason. They remained close and Dan was in Jason's wedding party. They were best friends until Jason passed in 2014. We miss Dan and always will. I know Jason was surprised and glad to see his friend in Heaven.

As you go through life you have people say,  "If you ever need anything, give me a call" but when the time comes they always have an excuse. 
Dan was not that kind of friend. Dan meant it and has been a good friend to our family since the first time I spoke to him on the phone. His mom worked with Senta and recommended Dan look at our van,  which had just been diagnosed with a blown engine. Later that night I got a call. We had never met. He said, "Karl, listen to this!" It was the sound of our van.  It had "just" been a slipped timing chain. 
From then on Dan was known to our family as Dan the Van Man.
He became a great friend and I'm sure Senta was on hand, in return, the show him around when he arrived in Heaven. 
Dan, we will meet again.  If there is anything we can do for the Kriegs, just ask.

I just wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers in the loss of Daniel.  I always remember people saying a child should never die before their parents.  Know I know how my mom felt when Scott died. I will cherish all the memories that I made over the years with Daniel when we were all together at nonnie & grandaddys house and your house in Wausau.  I just looked at my wedding video and saw a picture of Daniel when you made it to my wedding.  What a memory.  Like I said to Scott when he passed away, remember it's only until we meet again at God's heavenly kingdom.  I look and think that God's got his arms wrapped around Dan and he is your heavenly angel watching over you all. I am so sorry this had to happen.  Gail said to say that she was so sad for you as well.  

I knew Dan when we both teenagers in Wausau East high School. We spent pretty great times together there and with his brother Tim. Memories I have always thought fondly of and will always smile when I think of Dan, he was a pretty great guy already even way back then. RIP brother until we meet again.
