Del joined his beloved wife Carol in eternal peace on 7/23/2020. A private service will be held for his family on 7/27/2020.

Del was born in Washington DC on 10/04/1946. Del worked for Tidewater Supply prior to retiring from Civil Service and previously served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Del is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Carol Allen Heilman. He is survived by his son Alan; brother, Dallas (Cathy) Heilman; sisters, Mary Byers and Carol Winkler and a brother-in-law Wesley (Lisa) Allen.

Del was a devoted husband and father. He coached little league baseball for his son growing up and was a caregiver to Carol for many years. He loved sports. He enjoyed golf, bowling, pool and watching Nascar Races.

The family would like the thank the staff of Consulate Healthcare for the care the have provided.
