Denise M Wood, 48, of Virginia Beach died 27, February 2021. She was born on October 20, 1972 to parents, Donna M. Thornton and Edward J. Thornton in Allegheny Valley Hospital in Western Pennsylvania.
She married Russell T. Wood on September 7 1996. They have two living children Roxanna M. Wood and Emma J. Wood.
She is survived by her mother, Donna M Thornton; husband, Russell T. Thornton and children, Roxanna M. Wood and Emma J. Wood; and sister Roxanna (Annie) L. Thornton.
She is proceeded by in death by her father, Edward J. Wood and child, Rachel M Wood.
We honor the memory of Denise.
She is fondly remembered for her soft spoken nature, gentle temperament, and possessing a kind and caring soul. She never uttered a harsh word or displayed an angry temper. She was a welcoming and exceptional listener who listened closely and intently to whomever she was speaking. Her compassion was without equal and she sacrificed deeply in behalf of family, friends, and anyone in need.
