Denny Dale Hale, age 101, passed away on February 13, 2026. He was born on October 17, 1924 in Verda, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Nora Hale and his wife Gertrude Hale, his siblings Edmond, June, Geneva, Jeanette, Bobbie Jean and Elbert and a daughter Cheryl Ann Voohes. He was a resident of Virginia Beach.
Mr. Hale retired from the U. S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and as a Police Sergeant with Little Creek Amphibious Base.
Survivors include his daughter Denise Hale and her best friend Ron.
Graveside will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2:00 pm at Rosewood Memorial Park, located at 631 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia.
