A native of Virginia Beach, she was the queen of her castle. Diane was a graduate of Princess Anne High School and Leigh Memorial Hospital School of Practical Nursing. The skills she gained as a nurse were used to care for her parents, husband, children, and recently her sister Marie. As a caregiver, she gave of herself fully for the comfort of those that she loved.
Diane loved country music, sitting on her front porch swing, eating crabs and shrimp, trips to Texas to see her brother Edward and his wife Alyce. Also, the company and purr of a fuzzy cat. She enjoyed daffodils, petunias, and the promise of the spring that they brought each year.
She was preceded in death by her parents Renon Oliver and Freda Estelle Dozier. Her husband, Robert H. Clark, and siblings Melvin and Edward Dozier. Diane leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother Gene Dozier, sister Marie Ward, sons Jeffrey and Carl Clark, daughter Katherine Clark, grandsons James, Zachary, Kristopher, and Robert, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and dear soul that left us too soon. Diane will be missed by everyone that met her.
