Donna M. Dennis-Edghill

Donna M. Dennis-Edghill was born on April 11, 1957, in New York to Katherine Dennis and the late Roderick Dennis. Donna was the oldest of five siblings. Donna spent her early childhood in Brooklyn, NY where she attended Public and Junior High School. Donna graduated from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in 1975. After completing one year at Baruch college she was inspired to attend and graduate from Wilfred Academy school for Cosmetology .

Donna Dennis-Edghill married Gregory Edghill in February, 1989. From this union were born two daughters Whitney and Ashley. Donna became a stay at home mom until her children reached school age. In 1992, Donna decided to relocate her family to Virginia Beach which became her new home of many friends. Her first job in Virginia was at Lillian Vernon for 11 years. She then pursued her career as a Personal Care Attendant at Senior Corp. Donna was a hard working young woman and devoted mother

to her children whom she loved dearly. Donna loved to spend quality time with her family and friends.

Donna was truly a fighter to the end at Sentara Bayside Hospital until God decided to take her home. Donna leaves to rejoice in her memory and celebrate her life: a husband, Gregory Edghill; a caring and dedicated mother, Katherine Dennis; two loyal children, Whitney and Ashley Edghill; one stepson, Gregory Edghill; two brothers, Roderick Jr. and Dwayne Dennis; one sister, Dawn Wisher; one mother-in-law, Marion Edghill; one sister-in-law, Darra Edghill; one brother-in-law, Darren Wisher; one nephew, Darren "DJ" Wisher; two nieces, Tiffany and Jasmine; three Aunts; one Great-Aunt, Teena and a host of relatives and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her father Roderick Dennis, and brother Ronald Dennis. She will be once again united. She was loved by many and missed by all. We loved her so much. We take comfort knowing that she is in the hands of our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
