Donna Matzen Faison

Virginia Beach - Donna Marie Matzen Faison, 68, passed away on Aug. 13, 2017. She was born March 28, 1949 in Portsmouth, VA to the late Andrew Matzen and Treva Matzen Hufford. Life was never about Donna, it was always about everyone else as she selflessly gave to others. She was an avid supporter of Veterans and actively helped with many of their organizations and reunions. Left to cherish her memory are son, Bobby J. Faison; daughter, Arin Austin Faison; granddaughter, Allie Matzen Faison; brother, Tony Matzen and his wife Mindy; and sisters, Sheila Bice and her husband Larry and Debbie Matzen. A celebration of Donna's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sun., Aug. 27, 2017 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. The family request guest to please wear bright and cheery attire to the services.
