Doris Joyce Eason went to be with her Lord and Savior after a lengthy illness on January 29, 2015. She was born November 30, 1932 in Lasker, N.C. to the late William Ruffin and Ethel Collier Bryant. Mrs. Eason leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Harold Nelson Eason, son and daughter-in-law Tim and Carol Eason, sisters Elsie Spivey, Alice Faye Smith, and Virginia Hoggard with their loving families. She is predeceased in death by brothers William Clyde and Edward Earl Bryant.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 1pm at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road Va Beach, VA 23462. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. Special thanks to Beth Sholom Nursing Home and Medi Home Health and Hospice for their care, love and support.
