Doris Marie McDonnell, 70, passed away February 13, 2015. She was born in Henderson, NC to the late John Stepp and Lola (Tinsley) Caskaddon. She was preceded in death by both her parents and a son Anthony “Tony” Russell McDonnell. Doris was a beautician for 30 years; own Hair Solutions. She was a wonderful wife, mother, nanna, and friend. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Arthur R. McDonnell, Jr.; children, Dana Lou Brooks and David Miles McDonnell; granddaughters, Kirsten Marie Metheny ( Jeremy), Haley Alexis McDonnell, and Schyler Jordan McDonnell; brother John Stepp; sisters, Brenda Richau and Linda Drelich. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to CHKD at P.O. Box 2156, Norfolk, VA 23501-2156
