Dorothy E. Corprew, 93, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2016. She was devoted to her family, church and her friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Clifton H. Corprew; her son, Jeffrey P. Corprew; her grandson, Chas Kirkwood; and her sisters, Lauriee Easo, Catherine Guess, Marian Temple, Clara Belle Shirley and Eleanor Hicks.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Tucker Corprew; her grandson, Beau Kirkwood and his wife, Jennie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Bayside Baptist Church, 1920 Pleasure House Rd in Virginia Beach on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chas Foundation, 5426 Powhatan Ave., Norfolk, VA 23508.
