Earl F. Brewer, 87, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born on May 27, 1927 in Watauga County North Carolina to the late David Brewer and Carrie Wyatt. On July 28 1962 he married Margaret (Marie) Cole and they shared 52 wonderful years together.
Surviving are 6 children, David (Lauren) Rupard, Massachusetts. Lee (Gerry) Duarte, Montross, VA, Lynn (Jennifer) Brewer, Virginia Beach, VA, Frances (Erik) Burglund, Virginia Beach, VA, David (Sheryl) Brewer, Virginia Beach, VA, Timothy Brewer, Virginia Beach, VA, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are 4 siblings and 1 grandchild.
He was a consummate horseshoe thrower in his day and he loved tinkering with the many bargains he picked up at flea markets and yard sales. He will be greatly missed and remain in the hearts of those whose life he touched forever.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday May 21 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA.
