Mrs. Jones was born in Micro, NC and resided most of her life in Virginia Beach. She was a member of Virginia Beach Freewill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband James Ephraim Jones.
Survivors include four children, Patricia Brewer and husband Frank, James Jones, Jr., Connie Croom and husband Joe and Ricky Jones; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and two sisters-in-law Rose Jones and Margaret Jones.
A visitation will be Thursday, September 15, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home where A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The National Kidney Foundation.
