Virginia Beach – Edward M. Cook, 81, went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2011. He was a member of the Bayside Masonic Lodge #218 AF/ AM of VA, a member of Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Valley of Norfolk, Orient of VA, and a member of Khedive Shriners of Chesapeake, VA. Ed was an accomplished Branch Manager for the Handleman Record Handling Company.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Barbara; his loving daughters, Karen Cook Stalnaker and her husband, Bernie, and Lisa Cook Perkins and her husband, Chad; his grandchildren, Sierra, Ray and Lonnie; his sister, Augusta Cook Garber; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Friday, October 22, 2011 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 pm during the visitation. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. You may offer condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
