Ed Holcomb, devoted husband, born on August 14, 1941, in Alderson, West Virginia, peacefully passed away on May 9, 2026. He was the cherished son of the late Edward and Elsie O Holcomb and brother to his late sister, Jane.
Ed's journey through life was marked by dedication, warmth, and an unwavering generosity. After graduating from Concord College of West Virginia, he embarked on a fulfilling career as an engineer with Dominion Virginia Energy and Power, where he served with distinction for 30 years.
A proud member of the Scottish Rites, Ed was respected not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his deep kindness. He was an avid golfer, finding joy and camaraderie on the greens, where he spent countless hours perfecting his swing and sharing laughter with friends.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Ann, of Virginia Beach, who was his steadfast companion and partner. Ed's legacy is one of love, compassion, and an enduring spirit that touched all who knew him. His memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives he enriched.
