Elizabeth Ann Couch

Elizabeth Ann Couch, 54, passed away suddenly on April 4, 2022. She was born in Portsmouth, VA to the late Myrl and Mabel Couch. Left to cherish her memory are her Fiancée, Eric Bridges; sister Leesa Allison and her husband Robert; nephew, Dylan Batten; nieces, Hannah Batten, and Krystina Beard and her husband Dylan; and great nephew Oliver Beard.

Elizabeth was a loving Sister, Aunt and a loyal friend. Her gift to others was her selfless love and kindness. Her humor and laughter will be deeply missed. She loved to feed the groundhogs, go fishing, baking and playing board games.

Words cannot express our sorrow as she has left this world far too soon. She will be missed beyond words by her family and dearly missed by all her friends.

A private graveside service will be held in Rosewood Memorial Park.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:

where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console,

to be understood as to understand,

to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
