Theresa is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Bruce Alan Wilcox; her two sons, Wayne Philip Wilcox and his wife, Juliette, and Mark Alan Wilcox and his wife, Michelle. She was the proud grandmother of Eric Scott Wilcox, Gregory James Wilcox, Daniel George Wilcox, Joel Wilcox Brown, Laura Theresa Ballenger, Julia Elizabeth Oliver, Margaret Leah Do, and Benjamin Alan Wilcox.
She was also blessed with six cherished great-grandchildren: Rena Cheryl Takase, Evelyn Theresa Ballenger, Samuel Stephen Ballenger, Margot Leah Do, Murphy Matthew Do, and Marshall Alan Wilcox.
Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Ann Theresa Brown.
A burial service will be held at the U.S. Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, Maryland, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Heritage Humane Society, 430 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
Theresa’s love for her family, her quiet strength, and her generous spirit will be remembered always. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
