I was born a DIVA. I was stylish! I was always dressed to the “nines” with a matching bow in my hair, (okay Mom helped me put it in my hair). My eyes were magical, they danced when you all spoke to me and my smile would melt you like a roasted marshmallow. Not that I knew what they were yet. Mom kept giving me something called breast milk and formula. I endured numerous photo sessions and wardrobe changes as Mom memorialized my life in pictures. I was a socialite, I attended many functions and even and all-star softball game! I, Ella Grace Mayfield Richards know how deeply I was loved by Mommy and Daddy, step brother Kaiden and step sister Jayanna. My grandparents Nancy Christner and Edward Baker (Cynthia), Anthony & Jake Lynn Ellis and Thomas Morris. My great-grandparents, Henry Christner and Mary Howard and my aunts and uncles, my cousins and all of you.
I want you all to help me watch over my Mommy and Daddy, talk about me often, they may cry when they hear my name but I know it is music to their ears and will calm their heart.
My Story. . . . I think they call this an OBITUARY
Hi, my name is Ella-Grace Mayfield Richards. I was born on Thursday, May 21, 2015, to my Mommy and Daddy, (parents) Katherine Baker and Jake Richards at Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach. On July 5, 2015 I passed over from the arms of my Mommy to the arms of Jesus. I love my Mommy and Daddy and it is not like I did not want to hang out with them but you all know they both need a guardian angel and I am it.
Mommy, Daddy, family and friends will all tell you that I touched them deeply when they held me. It was cool experiencing holding hands with my Mommy and Daddy. If you did not see the photo than you need to check your FACEBOOK. I loved all of the hugs and kisses from my family, listening to Mommy and Daddy sing (hey Dad, keep your day job), and being told “I love you” an uncountable amount of times. Mommy would take me for walks down to the water. You adult people are very inquisitive people always wanted to peak at the new baby. All of you read the same book because you all said the same thing “she is gorgeous” yeah it was those Baker/Richards genes!
