Mr. Iannone was born in Italy. He served as a barber in Auburn, NY for over fifty years. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Tony, Louie and Modestino Iannone and a sister, Mary Iannone Bucci.
Survivors include his loving wife of seventy years, Mary DelSanto Iannone, a daughter, Lisa Fentress of Virginia Beach, VA; a son, Dr. Ron Iannone and wife, Mary of Morgantown, WV; four grandchildren, Adam Fentress, Patrick Iannone, Mary Beth Sickles and Jeff Iannone.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, where a celebration of Mr. Iannone’s life will be held on Monday, 2:00 p.m., February 28, by Father James Parke. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to West Virginia Public Theatre 111 High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501 or a charity of one’s choice.
