Virginia Beach - Ernestine Mitchell Sadler, 95, passed away peacefully in the quiet of her home on Feb. 24, 2014. She was born on Nov. 8, 1918 in Colerain, NC to the late Zeddie and Belinda Mitchell. Mrs. Sadler was a member of Carrow Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Sadler and son, Johnie Sadler.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Belinda Starkes and husband Stan; granddaughter, Jacqueline Rose and husband Kevin; grandson, Steven Starkes; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Sadler; and great-granddaughter, Avery Rose.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m., Wed. Feb. 26, 2014 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thurs. Feb. 27, 2014 at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Doug Plumlee. You may offer condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
