Nancy Eubanks, the original force of nature wrapped in glamour, left this world on June 25, 2026 at 8 p.m., probably after making one last witty remark and pouring herself a proper glass of wine. She was 78 years young and had spent every single one of those years living life at full volume, full color, and full fabulousness.
Born in 1947, Nancy was a true friend, fiercely loyal, and unapologetically bombastic. She was the diva who entered every room like it was her runway, the hostess who threw legendary parties, and the hilarious storyteller who could make you laugh until your sides hurt. Whether she was perfecting a gourmet meal in the kitchen, coaxing miracles out of the garden with her legendary green thumb, or transforming someone’s look with her impeccable style and styling skills, Nancy did everything with flair and heart. She loved the beach, the sun on her skin, a good craft project, and unexpected adventures that kept everyone on their toes. Above all, she was full of faith, overflowing with love, and convinced that life was meant to be celebrated—loudly.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Donald Eubanks; her daughters Michelle and Rebecca; her son-in-law Adrian; her sister Maria del Mar; and her beloved grandchildren Gabriella, Jimmy Junior, and Maximilian—who knew and adored her as their Lele. Nancy’s warmth, generosity, and larger-than-life spirit touched everyone around her, leaving a legacy of joy, creativity, and unconditional love that will continue through her family for generations.
In honor of Nancy’s vibrant spirit, a celebration of her extraordinary life will be held on Friday, July 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 North Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Come as fabulous as Nancy would—think glamour, color, and sparkle! Raise a glass of wine, share a story that makes you laugh, and toast the woman who showed us all how to turn ordinary days into unforgettable memories.
Nancy didn’t just live life to the fullest—she made it sparkle. And the world is a little less glamorous without her.
Rest in peace, beautiful soul. You were, and always will be, one of a kind.
