Obituary of Florence Louise Hamel
Florence Louise Hamel, 90, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2021. Mrs. Hamel was born in New York and resided in the Tidewater area most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Mary Creamer Welsh, her husband Ronald Armand Hamel and son Ronald John Hamel. Survivors include a son Thomas Hamel; a daughter in law Amanda Hamel and a granddaughter Kelsea Hamel. She was Catholic by faith. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park at 3:00 p.m. Friends may offer condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
