Pat was born on February 9, 1935 to the late Elizabeth M. and William C. Saunders in Norfolk, VA. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Herbert F. Videll, Jr. and brothers, William Thomas (Tom) Saunders and Robert Stephen (Bob) Saunders.
Pat retired after a successful 27 year career as a realtor, achieving the multi-million dollar club. Pat was a founding member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she served in many ministries, also an active supporter of the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage- DeWitt cottage, Beta Sigma Phi sorority, past den mother for the Cub Scouts, PTA and school activities.
Pat was devoted to her family and is survived by her daughters, Cathi Konopik (Brad), Beth Goralewicz (Rob), and Patti Becton (Mike); sons, Mike Videll (Wendy),Bill Videll (Michelle), and Jim Videll (Ginny); grandchildren, Shannon Wassel (Phil), Austin Konopik, Patrick Videll (Brittany), Caitlin Videll, Troy Konopik, Matthew Videll, Erin Devosha (Josh), Ryan Videll, Emily Jones (Sam), Brena Videll, Chris Peterson, Kyle Videll, William Videll, and Logan Videll; great-grandchildren, Aedan and Samantha Wassel, Raina Jones, Olivia Videll, and Lincoln Devosha. She was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Tracy Videll and grandson, Andrew Peterson.
Herb and Pat loved spending time with their family and friends. Together they enjoyed volunteering, traveling, “birding”, mountain and Southern Shore reunions, and keeping up with “the family” at their house in Baylake Pines. Pat loved music, reading books, gardening, walking the beach or being anywhere near the ocean. Pat was kind, loving and gracious to all. She will never be forgotten, because she is unforgettable! Love is forever.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1396 Lynnhaven Parkway, Virginia Beach, VA 23453. A graveside service will follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park. All are welcome at the gravesite and afterwards at the house. If desired, memorial contributions can be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church or to the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum at DeWitt Cottage, 1113 Atlantic Ave., Virginia Beach, VA. 20451.
