I am saddened and shocked to hear about Cameron's passing. I regret that I didn't know and couldn't attend the funeral. I met him in November of 2009 after his wife's passing, he missed her very much. He always spoke about his family and grandchildren and how much he loved them all and his dog Charlie who was a great companion to him. I will remember seeing him on 264 with the top down on the convertible and his cool sunglasses on with a big smile on his face. He was a true gentleman and family man who loved life and his friends and his family and I don't think he ever met a stranger. I am glad I got to be his massage therapist and friend and listen to his stories. To his family, I'm very sorry for your loss, all of our loss, he was always proud of and loved you all very much.

I only knew Cameron for a moment, but he was already in my heart. He was a very special person. He seemed caring, kind, charming, and a "gentle" man in the truest sense of that word. I looked forward to seeing him every time he came in to see me at Willis Furniture. He had a twinkle in his eye and a kind word for everyone. I will miss him.
I am sorry for your loss. I know he had a large family because he spoke about all of you!

To the Bowen Family, I have only known your Dad for thee weeks. I am very great full to have met such a caring man, who was proud of his family. We both shared a passion for pictures. He brought over a album to my desk and explained each family member to me. And he was proud of each and every family member. I will sure miss Cameron coming in each day with his wonderful smile. May God Bless your whole entire family and friends during this difficult time

I was introduced to Cameron and spent a few hours with him just over a month ago. It was a wonderful meeting as he was truly gracious and obviously caring of his family, loved ones and community. At the funeral of my daughter's father-in-law, Alan Lindauer, this past Saturday it occured that Cameron might have known him and I would ask during my scheduled call this past Monday. I was stunned to read the Sunday paper - as were all who knew Cameron. My deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones for their great loss.
