Gaylene Marie Buchanan, age 65, of Norfolk, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1960, to the late Amandus F. and Alice Marie Poetter in Chewelah, Washington.
Gaylene graduated from Norfolk Catholic School in 1978. She worked in payroll for Colonna's Shipyard and loved to craft and puzzle.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, David L. Buchanan; daughters, Jessica Anne Buchanan and Katherine Jeanne Buchanan; and grandchildren, David, Damian, Raven and Kai, whom she loved dearly.
