Mrs. Carolyn,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Though we live miles apart, my heart is with you guys. We may have not spent a lot of time together, but family is everything to me. And y'all are family. Hugs and kisses from here in Florida. Y'all are in my heart and prayers. May God watch over you during this time, and give you the warmth from the Holy Spirit in your time of need. A special blessing of ease and comfort knowing Gerald is with the Lord. Waiting peacefully for his family to be with him once again.

Love always,
Raelynn, John, and Wyatt

Mom,

You are an amazing example of strength, persistence, patience, and love that every daughter should learn from and pass on to her own children. Through good times and bad, you always put Jerry first. Yes, sometimes patience fell short but you ARE human. 99 percent of the time, your love for Jerry, and faith in God and his timing, got you through every minute of Jerry's long struggle. Thank you for teaching me all of these values and more throughout my lifetime.

Although Jerry has now passed, I wanted to take a few minutes to share some memories that I will always cherish. Let's start with the famed and acclaimed, Doody Daddy, then, Jerry Burgers, shrimp macaroni salad, calling himself and me a "giraffe in heat", his red Monte Carlo, a rough boat ride into Rudee Inlet where I just knew we were all gonna die :), blowing off leaves out back, the well manicured yard he always kept, Yahtzee (inside joke), and so many more of course. These were just the things that came so quickly to mind when I decided to write to you.

Continue to be the strong lady that you are. You got this! God is always with us and I pray always that he is watching you and helping you as you move on into this new phase of your life. I love you more than the air I breathe. Thank you God for my Mom!
