On August 7, 1996 greeted with light and love by her family and friends, a vibrant spirit was brought into the world. Gerrika Kamree Alexander grew up in Virginia Beach and was able to spread her wings while living in Japan. Growing up, anyone that met her instantly fell in love with her smile and personality.
Gerrika lived her life as a free spirit going to the beach, attending concerts, shopping, exploring nature, and spending time with family and friends. She was currently studying for her Real Estate license while living in San Diego, California. Gerrika loved life and wanted everyone she came in contact with to enjoy it with her. Gerrika will be forever loved and her spirit will shine on all who loved her for eternity.
Left to cherish Gerrika's memory are her mother, Jamie R. Keesee and her husband Michael; her father, Gerren Alexander and his wife Chaquita; sisters, Jamerra Alexander and Aubrey Keesee; brother Devin Garvin; step-siblings; Larry Franks and Kharee Phillips. She is also survived by her grandparents, Darlene Randle, Kendra Alexander and Aurther Davis; great grandma, Barbara Alexander; and her aunt and uncle, John and Kim Schatz, and many close friends.
