Hubert Dail Barber, aged 92, passed away on January 25, 2026. Born on October 9, 1933 to the late Jesse C. and Janie Bell Barber in North Carolina. He was a loving and devoted husband for 53 years to his late wife, Jacquelyn (Weaver) Barber.
Hubert was known for his adventurous spirit and hard-working nature. He was a humorous individual who had a passion for travel and playing cards. His love for old cars was well-known among his friends and family. A devoted and kind-hearted man, he touched the lives of many.
In his professional life, Hubert served as an aircraft mechanic. His dedication to his craft was evident, and he also found joy in building 20 plus houses throughout his lifetime.
Hubert is survived by his sister, Alice J. Farrar, and his niece, Donna Farrar Farmer. He is also survived by his devoted caregiver for over 20 years, Tonya M. Parks and her husband Glenn. His memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
