Ivy Powell Johnson

Ivy Powell Johson, 85, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2013. Mrs. Johnson was born in Newfoundland and moved to Virginia Beach, Va. in 1971. She was a registered nurse for many years and retired as a real estate agent. She was preceded in death by two sisters Elsie Anthony and Hazel Brinton. Survivors include three children, Robert Glenn Johnson and wife Faith, Elizabeth Johnson Nance and Daniel Nance, William Powell and wife Connie, four grandchildren Connor and Sam Ruddy, Stephanie and Amy Powell, two sisters Mabel Bumpus and Lee Meachum and two brothers Ron and Ray Powell. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013, 6 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
