“Alan, “ as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was born May 25, 1939 to the late Robert and Teresa Lindauer in Portsmouth, VA. He graduated from ODU as a CPA. He was owner and President of Minute Man Fuels, Inc., President of Waterside Capital Corporation, Founding Director of Townebank, and an avid yachtsman and pilot. Sailing and flying were his passion but family always came first. He will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his five sons: Alan, Jr., Kenny, Billy, Charlie, and Chris as well as 12 grandchildren and a sister, Teresa Cox.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 24h at Sacred Heart Church in Norfolk, VA.
