Virginia Beach - James H. Goode Jr., 77, went to be with the Lord On Wed. July 29, 2015. Jim was born on Aug. 16, 1937 in Avondale, NC to the late James and Mildred Goode. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force and continued a career with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard until his retirement.
Left behind to cherish Jim's memory are his wife of 59 years, Evelyn E. Goode; son, James Stephen Goode and his wife Claudia; daughter, Stacey E. Holt and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Jennifer Bourgeois and husband Andre, Jacklyn Truelove, Kriss Truelove Jr., Riley Holt, and Avery Holt.
A service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sun. Aug. 2, 2015 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. You may offer condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
