James Norman Lynch Jr., 74 of Moyock, NC passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. He was the son of James Norman Lynch Sr. and Ann Hardwick. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Cheryl and Jerry.
Jim was a master electrician and worked for the City of Virginia Beach and was the owner of Lynch Electric for many years. He loved his family and enjoyed construction, boating and fishing.
Jim was a loving husband of 28 years to Debra Fortunato Lynch, and a wonderful father and grandpa. He will be greatly missed!
Jim is survived by his sister, Joyce (Dale) Nabb; his children, Dorothea (Patrick) McMath, Jennifer (Steve) Balk, Susan Ruiz; step children; Scott (Jamie) Turner and Amy Martz; and his nine grandchildren; Allyssa, Wyatt, Jaxson, Brooks, Ainsley, Izzy, Sierra, Brody and Weston.
A visitation for James will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462. A Celebration of Life will occur Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home followed by burial at Rosewood Memorial Park.
