James D. McDonald Jr. (Jim), 78, passed away on October 27th, 2022. He passed away peacefully, listening to his favorite music, surrounded by his two daughters. Jim was born in Charleston, WV on November 24th, 1943 to the late James and Lillian McDonald.
Jim celebrated a rich life, full of travel, friends, and most importantly - spending time with his family. He was a kind, funny, and loving family man, always willing to sacrifice whatever it took to help a family member or friend in need. Jim married his soulmate and the love of his life, Bobbi, in July of 1970 and after 2 years without her, he has been reunited with her once again.
Jim leaves behind his 2 daughters, Erin Stewart and Amanda McDonald, his siblings Beverly Parker and Bill McDonald, and their respective families.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 10:00am with visitation one hour prior at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA. A burial will immediately follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. You may offer your condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com
