James L. Whitehead

Mr. Whitehead served in the United States Marine Corps for five years, the United States Postal Service for 25 years, Wal-Mart for 7 years and Chesapeake Christian Center for over 10 years.

He was a wonderful husband and father,and left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 46 years, Thelma Whitehead of Hampton, VA; daughters, Crystal Fisher, and Cryshel Whitehead of Hampton VA; grandsons, James C. Whitehead and Christopher Fisher of Hampton, VA; Nieces, Lisa Weaver, and Linda Robinson; aunt Ernestine Gaut, brother-in-law, Herman Robinson, adopted son and daughter Eric and Ann Jones, dear friends, Clarence Harris and Lawrence Council, and a host of relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd.,Virginia Beach, VA23462.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA. Conducted by Pastor Marvin Duke.
