Jeanelle Burke Boaze, 78, passed away on Tuesday in Virginia Beach. Jeanelle was born in Helen, GA to the late B.D and Emily Burke. She retired as a Cafeteria Manager in the Virginia Beach School System after 30 years of service. Jeanelle loved gardening, word books, games and was an excellent cook. She is survived by her husband, Hubert Boaze; son, Randy Boaze of Norfolk; daughter, Rhonda Lewis and husband Mike of Virginia Beach; brother, Ronald Burke of Danville; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A service will be conducted at 10am, Friday at Kellum Funeral Home with burial immediately following the service at Rosewood Memorial Park.
