Joseph A. Lopresti, 81, passed away peacefully October 13, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.
Born October 20, 1929 to the late Santo and Nina Lopresti in Woodberry, N.J; Mr. Lopresti served our country proudly in the U.S. Navy, retiring after 23 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory are: his loving wife of 35 years, Ella Lopresti; son, Michael Lopresti and wife Janice; daughter, Ella Spruill and husband J.C.; sister, Mary Formica and husband Tony; 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by daughters, Pamela Blazer and Nita Anderson.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm, Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 17, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
