Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James E. Johansen, Sr. and Barbara A. Johansen. Joshua was born into a large loving family. He was loved and spoiled by his mother, Rose Mary (Johansen) Vallera. Later in life he was blessed to be a big brother to William A. Vallera (Cassandra), and Matthew J. Vallera. He was very proud to be an uncle to Preston Rocco Vallera and Alexandria Rose Vallera. He is survived by three uncles, Carl Johansen, James E. Joshua Allen Johansen
You came into my life at a time I really needed a new love. You changed my life forever. I am so proud to be your Aunt. I remember you being dressed up in my softball teams colors, you were our mascot and good luck charm. I remember running home from the bus stop to spend time with you before your mom got off work. I was always happy when you came over and spent time at my house with Eddie, Travis and Summer. Speaking for them, they think of you more like a brother than a cousin.
When you were battling your illness, I was always amazed at your tenacity, and strength. I often referred to you as Superman during this time. You were dealt some bad cards but you never gave up and always continued to do your best through it all.
I will always remember your beautiful smile, the light you gave off and the way you brought our family together. I know you are in Heaven and having a great time with your Grandparents. We all miss you like crazy!
Love you forever,
Ant Mandy

How do I write just one memory when we had so many? So proud to be your Mom.

Joshua had an exuberant light around him and great joy for family and friends. He was always All In and never Half Way in everything he did and was a part of. He had the warmest laugh that made you feel good and want to laugh with him. May his spirit soar around the heavens and commune with family and good friends on the other side!

I’ve known Josh for quite a few years, and got to work with him for a few of those years. Always treated with a smile and asked how you were doing. He will be missed
