Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James E. Johansen, Sr. and Barbara A. Johansen.
Joshua was born into a large loving family. He was loved and spoiled by his mother, Rose Mary (Johansen) Vallera. Later in life he was blessed to be a big brother to William A. Vallera (Cassandra), and Matthew J. Vallera. He was very proud to be an uncle to Preston Rocco Vallera and Alexandria Rose Vallera. He is survived by three uncles, Carl Johansen, James E. Johansen, Jr. and Scott Johnsen and an Aunt Amanda Dillow. Joshua also had a very special bond with his cousins.
It was always said that Joshua was born with a screwdriver in his hand. He was an Automotive Technician by trade with a degree from A.T.I., but his love affair with fixing everything started in his toddler days.
Joshua was very meticulous and organized. He loved to collect many treasures, including Hot Wheels, watches, baseball cards, tools and many other items.
Please join us in the Celebration of Life service, remembering and honoring him Sunday, September 15th at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, on Witchduck Road at 2 O’clock.
