Joyce Jenkins Perger

Joyce J. Perger, 90, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2017. She was born on October 8, 1926 to the late Dula and Oitt C. Jenkins in Pageland, SC. Her husband Steve J. Perger preceded her in death. Joyce loved her family and friends very much. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with the horses and her beloved poodle Andi. She is survived by her daughter Patti J. Perger; sons Steve J. Perger Jr. (Donna); and Joseph C. Perger (Janice); 7 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
