Judy was born in Mechanicsburg, PA on June 29, 1955 and was the daughter of the late Robert & Virginia Basehore.
At an early age Judy gave her life to Christ and her lifelong devotion shaped who she was and what she did as she sought to honor Him with her life. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother who graciously loved and served her family and friends. She was an active member of her church, teaching Sunday school, Bible studies and greeting people, making them feel welcome. She devoted herself to prayer and Scripture. She developed a love for cooking from her grandmother and was known for her delicious meals and excellent desserts. She began gardening as a young girl with her father and continued to do so in her adult life, enjoying the harvest of many, many vegetables over the years. She found true joy in the simple pleasures and in spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Allen Weibley.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years John Allen Weibley; her son Matthew Allen Weibley and wife Stephanie; daughter-in-law Debbie Smith Weibley; 4 grandchildren: Anna, Dexter, Sloane, and Emerson; and her sister Patricia Brubaker.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Friday, February 16, at 11:00 at Bayside Baptist Church and will be conducted by John Nixon. A graveside service for the family will take place prior to the memorial.
