

Kathleen Hudgins Skinner has passed away at age 83 on Thursday, February 23, 2012. During a visit in WV, with her loving twin sister, Pauleen (Petie) Clegg, she was taken ill and later moved to Eagle Pointe in Parkersburg, WV. Kathleen (Kay) had lived most of her life in Virginia Beach, VA, where she raised her family. She and her late husband, Raymond R. Skinner began Ray Skinner Frames, Inc. about 32 years ago, which is currently owned by her surviving son, Paul B. Skinner and wife, Norma Deane. Kay was also predeceased by her eldest son, Raymond R. Skinner, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and her daughter, Beverly J. Tehel, of VA Beach and a brother, William Hudgins of WV.
She leaves behind her sister, Petie Clegg, of Vienna, WV; her son-in-law, Frank D. Tehel; granddaughter, Neely K. Elstrodt and husband Matt; grandson, Clayton E. Skinner, all of VA Beach; grandson, Michael McCully and wife, Meredith, of Boston, MA; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Elstrodt and Sophia Beverly McCully; and several nieces and nephews in WV.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 631 N. Witchduck Rd. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12 noon.
