Larry attended Tabernacle Baptist Church and graduated from First Colonial High School. He received his associate's degree from Tidewater Community College and his bachelor's degree from Old Dominion University. Larry worked as an accountant for Ramesh Joshi for 25 years and Farm Fresh for 20 years.
Larry was known for his selfless and compassionate nature. He was a devoted and faithful person, always hard-working and kind-hearted. His gentle soul touched the lives of many, and he was loved by all who knew him. Larry loved to laugh and always had a smile on his face, bringing joy to those around him.
He is survived by his dear friend, Christopher Davis; sister, Sonya McCoy Beuerle; brothers, Harry McCoy, Sr. and Daryl McCoy, Sr; dear friend Ramesh Joshi, colleagues and many nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
