Linda Carol Hughes of Virginia Beach, April 20, 1964 – July 4, 2019, was called home to be with our Lord after a long fight with cancer. She was loved by her family and friends and will not be forgotten.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bernard Hughes; Daughters and Spouses, Sheena and Muhammad Shakeel, and Shannon and Tony Colon; Grandchildren, Adalyn, Dexter, Sophia and Ethan Shakeel; Mother, Linda Faircloth; Father and Mother-in-law, Jesse and Erika Hughes; 2 Brothers, Kent and Tony Faircloth; 1 Sister, Tonya Roberts; 3 Brothers-in-law; 3 Sisters-in-law; 5 Nephews; 7 Nieces; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Son, Zachary Hughes; Father, David Faircloth; 2 Sisters-in-law; 1 Brother-in-law; and 1 Nephew.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
