Lola Lee Sampley

Lola Lee Sampley, 76, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2019. A native of Princess Anne County, Lola was preceded in death by her parents, William and Stella Goodwin, her daughter Pamela Lee Smith, her grandson Jacob Taraskiewicz, 4 sisters Laura Mae Brown, Margie Bennett, Shelby Mahoney and Page Latrace and a brother Buddy Goodwin. Mrs. Sampley is survived by her 3 children Cindy Kennedy, Robert Taraskiewicz and wife Mary, Michael Taraskiewicz and wife Karen; her grandchildren Stephen Wallace and wife Audra, Whitney Alexopoulos and husband Joe, Jennifer Kennedy and husband Charlie and Scott Kaufman, Amber Chapman and husband Adam, Ashley Taraskiewicz, Joshua Taraskiewicz and wife Emily, Matthew Taraskiewicz, and Wesley Taraskiewicz; her great grandchildren Shaine Wallace, Wyatt Wallace, Marley Wallace, Shelby Wallace, Jacob Kennedy, Henry Kennedy, Abrielle Taraskiewicz, Finn Taraskiewicz and Evan Taraskiewicz; her 3 sisters Lona Martin, Mary Johnson and Stella Smith and numerous beloved nephews, nieces and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2p.m. at the funeral home.
