

Norfolk- Loreen Scott Turner, 86, currently residing with son Ronald and family in Windsor, VA and was a resident of Norfolk, VA for 67 years, passed away on April 10, 2011. She was born on October 1, 1924 to the late Claudia Jane and Joseph Edward Scott in Prince George County, VA. She is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Reginald R. Turner; and her son, James “Tic” Scott Turner.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Reginald “Tommy” Turner and wife Linda of Myrtle Beach, SC; Ronald Jay Turner and wife Cindy of Windsor, VA; daughters, Judith L. Livadaras and husband Eddie of Jonesville, NC; Lana Starr Brabble and husband Michael of Norfolk, VA; daughter- in-law, Brenda Turner of Virginia Beach, VA; and sister, Ruth M. Hamlin of Petersburg, VA; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
She was a loving wife and devoted mother to five children. Her boundless energy and enthusiasm was centered around her husband, children and family. She was a current member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Chesapeake, VA, and formerly a member of Fox Hall Baptist Church of Norfolk.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462-6309, (757) 671-1717
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
